The other day  Ambrose Evans-Pritchard wrote a stinging jeremiad in the Telegraph denouncing the shenanigans of the metropolitan elite and their political class as they carry out their historic treasonable betrayal of the British electorate's verdict delivered in the June 23 Referendum. Plus ca change! That was always going to be their end game. Truth is that it is the Labour Party & Trades Union movement that bears the greater shame and culpability in the treason itself than any other party or movement.

There’s a little over another 8 weeks of nose to tail electoral campaigning to endure before we finally get to cast our ballots on June 23. And the blizzard of increasingly vacuous and contentious statements and reciprocal point-scoring is inexorably gathering pace. We have become unaccustomed to mature,nuanced,indeed clever political badinage and rhetoric here in the formerly ” great ” britain. Instead we’ve allowed ourselves to be alternately hectored and lectured by a seemingly endless cavalcade of preening,fatuous wannabe poseurs and parliamentary arrivistes who are for the most part are utterly devoid of even the merest scintilla of statesmanship and popular political acumen that might influence and resonate with the ordinary citizenry and electorate.
The EU Referendum debate,such as it is is being soundly buffeted by verbiage and flimsy assertions coming at it from all conceivable ideological and Party directions.For Labour it is essentially a tribal struggle vis a vis the Conservatives.Their worn out,dessicated mantras are being dusted off and brought back into circulation,wrapped in a faux-nostalgia and counterfeit,superficial class politics that long ago ceased to have any traction in the world post Thatcher-Blair. Following on from Shadow Foreign secretary Benn’s wildly delusional and idiosyncratic exposition of his tenuous grasp of modern history during the ” May we bomb Syria “debate ;Alan Johnson follows Benn into going over the top on an equally implausible rhetorical suicide mission underscoring the axiom that truth is the first casualty in war,but in Johnston’s case as in Benn’s earlier,Meaning itself is the biggest casualty of all. Perhaps more so,”  The meds have clearly kicked in and someone ought to fetch the Nurse.
More important than the general election of 1945 ? The absolute zenith of Labour Party/Trades Union reformist mythology second only to the Keir Hardie Creation myth.And Johnson has gone and erased from the collective,historic working class memory absolutely everything else.The coup de grace being his repeating the outright figment of Blairite imagination,that ” The rights of working people are protected by our EU membership “.
Theologically this would count as Apostasy or even Heresy coming from within the Vatican itself. And we all know what should happen to Heretics.

2017 ended with metropolitan elitist nonpareil Lord Adonis flouncing out of his part-time day job in government as the head of the National Infrastructure Commission, in protest apparently at the aforementioned pantomime show's handling of Brexit.

By doing so Adonis, the putative war-criminal and former UK premier Blair's crony, left the equivalent of dog turd on mischief night on No.10's doorstep.
According to the immature miscreant himself it wasn't so much as a pile of unwelcome canine excreta as a protest born out of a personal,divinely inspired epiphany experienced whilst attending a church service at an Austrian ski resort.

Adonis expressed the conviction that he is on a mystically inspired mission to delay and derail the EU Withdrawal Bill and with it Brexit in its entirety.He happens to be entirely mistaken on the matter as on March 29 2019,the UK shall legally cease to be a member state of the EU.

But empirical data,facts,reason,logic,the Law,Realpolitik and such like have little or indeed no bearing whatsoever on the demented outpourings of otiose cant and vacuous platitudes that gush out of the facial orifices of Remoaners like so much effluent from a sewage pipe outlet.

The Remain campaign, in particular over 200 MPs of the Labour Party, have spent every waking moment since the early hours of June 24 2016 denying the constitutional and legal validity of the referendum result and concomitantly slandering,defaming and denouncing all the 17.4 million British citizens, many of them their own constituents, that voted for Leave.

The Remoaners will not desist from this egregious and unwholesome Goebbels-esque propaganda blitz on democracy in 2018.They have given every indication that they will in fact intensify their insidious seditionist warfare on the character,standing and integrity of the 17.4 million and however many amongst Remain voters actually value  patriotic democracy above reckless partisanship.

It is therefore incumbent upon all patriotic,democratic civic minded people to counter this clear and present danger that threatens to snatch defeat from the jaws of Victory.

Then again, would the Remoaners really want to try and  live in a world where the consequences of their antidemocratic sedition are all too real?

Which is to say the least odd,but not in a good way. After all, whatever the outcome or however far we've got during the time limited Article 50 period,that's it folks,we're done,gone and left.There will be no more time.That's what Article 50 of the Lisbon treaty says.

It's a measure of the political cowardice and charlatanry of the metropolitan elites that they continue on as if the referendum n a) Never took place or  b) Gave a verdict other than the one it did.

We know this to be the case as the Corporate MSM is currently reporting on the prevailing status of Brexit negotiations.
The term " negotiations " is purely an arbitrary one that's used for ease of reference. Imbroglio is nearer the mark.
Various pro and anti - brexit factional interests are in the throes of vying over the putative content of the much vaunted " deal " that might or might not be struck between the UK and the 27  remaining satrapies governing the former's exit from the EU.
And yet, despite the EU's very best propagandistic endeavours and the hundreds of millions spent on multimedia platform campaigns to persuade the British people otherwise, Brexit remains intact and the UK's impending departure from satrapydom is secure for the end of March 2019.
It is that straightforward. The Labour sponsored front organisation " The 3 Million " can whine and stamp its tiny feet and repeatedly chuck its toys from the pram as much it wants; nothing alters. We are leaving.
The Maastricht Treaty 1992 -which was never approved by the UK electorate- created the egregious legal fiction of " Citizen of the EU ". Just how you can be a citizen of a non-nation is itself a bizarre a notion as the human intellect could ever possibly have to deal with.
Nevertheless the EU created and our supine,spineless Parliament agreed to accept  this legal impossibility a la Lewis Carroll's Humpty Dumpty " Words mean precisely what i want them to mean.."  And ever since the EU Citizens were conjured into faux-existence,these cozening wretches have been going around slitting their morally superior consciences and bleeding them all over the rest of us.
Our contrite supplicant of a PM, has now gone along with this idiocy and caved in to this alien agitators' charter thus ceding a significant advantage to the EU side in the so-called negotiating process.Just how much more else she will hand over without a murmur before the end of March 2019 is open to strenuous conjecture. Late last night on 11 September the House of Commons voted to continue with the EU Withdrawal Bill ( aka Repeal Bill aka The Great Repeal Bill ).

Essentially this will be an Act of Parliament that by and large will incorporate into domestic UK law all so-called EU laws that have been accepted and entered into the UK body politic these past four decades.
The Repeal Bill once passed will give government Ministers, what its detractors and opponents misrepresent and wilfully misconstrue ,as " Henry VIII " powers.

In practice such  " powers " are the necessary bureaucratic discretion whereby Parliament does not have to be consulted over minor and peripheral adjustments and tidying up of the preceding EU Laws that perhaps translate maladroitly into UK legal understanding and practice.

In the broader context of the UK's departure from the EU at the end of March 2019, this Bill has been " sexed up " by the reactionary anti - brexit metropolitan Labour Party.

Corbyn,Starmer et al have  misrepresented the actual facts of the Bill in the same sensationalist and hyperbolic manner adopted by Blair and the now notorious Iraqi WMD dossier. That dossier was predicated on lies, equally Labour's assertion of a governmental power grab from this Bill are also predicated on lies.

This what is what can be  gleaned from  Labour List  had to say on the late night Commons vote :-

Seven Labour MPs defied a three line party whip announced byJeremy Corbyn last night to back the Brexit bill.

Ronnie Campbell, Frank Field, Kelvin Hopkins, John Mann, Dennis Skinner, Graham Stringer and Kate Hoey. defied party orders and supported the Tories in voting for the EU Withdrawal Bill – which overturns the European Communities Act 1972 – by 326 votes to 290.

The so called Repeal bill, which had the adjective “Great” until it was dropped by the Tories, shifts the entirety of EU law on to the British statute books.

Shadow Brexit secretary Keir Starmer described it as a “deeply disappointing” night.

Immediately after the vote Starmer published a statement in which he repeated Labour’s claim that the Tories were trying to sideline parliament to seize greater powers for themselves.

“This is a deeply disappointing result. This Bill is an affront to parliamentary democracy and a naked power grab by government ministers. It leaves rights unprotected, it silences parliament on key decisions and undermines the devolution settlement,” he said.

“It will make the Brexit process more uncertain, and lead to division and chaos when we need unity and clarity.

“Labour will seek to amend and remove the worst aspects from the bill as it passes through parliament. But the flaws are so fundamental it’s hard to see how this Bill could ever be made fit for purpose”.

And so it goes. Corbyn and his erstwhile allies  have fully assimilated the #LabourIn position and rhetoric that hasn't changed one iota following the EU Referndum result in favour of Leave.

Metropolitan Labour Remoaner EU shills, of whom there are 200+MPs such as Wakefield's Mary Creagh, regurgitate the same otiose cant and utter the same vacuous platitudes that they've done all along.

According to Creagh , Labour " Recognises and respects the referendum result ". Note the ongoing absence of  the two most important signifiers, " accept " and " implement ".

This is Humpty Dumpty on a  heretofore megalomaniacal scale that even most Tories wouldn't dare to attempt.
Words mean precisely what the likes of Creagh say they mean,no more and no less. Recognise clearly means accept and respect means implement,obviously!

And that is why Corbyn,Starmer et al and their hobnailed acolytes and lackeys throughout the  broader labour and trades Union movement are officially calling for the UK to remain inside the Single market and The Customs Union after March 2019.

Because according to them that will recognise and respect the result of the EU Referendum when 52% voted to  "Leave " which of course also means stay.

And now you know why I do genuinely and most fervently hate loathe and despise the EU,  all of its works and everything it stands for and the same now goes for the Labour Party.

A couple of days ago, the Labour Party issued its latest update on its Party line on the brexit process.We are to Remain imprisoned for an indefinite period within the Single Market as well as  the Customs Union.
The very shackles that have bound our Nation in servitude for decades to an alien authoritarian tyranny are to remain in place; this in the view of the British Labour Party constitues Brexit- the UKs departure from the serfdom of the EU !!

You may recall the failed Remain campaign that lost the 2016 EU referendum. More than 200 Labour MPs were at the heart of that discredited shambles including our own unrepentant antidemocratic zealot who despises her own constituents for having voted largely for #brexit.

 

Having been beaten once, the Labour Party, again are spearheading another vain attempt to in effect overturn the result of the very referendum which they singularly have refused to accept as legitimate.

 

Despite all the arrant nonsense from Keir Starmer and Chuka Umunna and idle bombast spewed out by the Labour Party and their deluded anti-brexit allies in various trade and industrial bodies,there is one all commanding fact which they wilfully choose to ignore in the hope that the electorate can be misled.

 

Article 50 of the Treaty of Lisbon gives the leaving country two years to negotiate an exit deal and once it's set in motion it can't be stopped except that the timescale of 2 years may be extended by unanimous consent of all member states.

 

Triggering Article 50 has started the clock running down.After March 2019,the Treaties that govern membership no longer apply to the UK.

On the day those treaties become null and void our trading arrangements with the EU revert to WTO rules.

 

The UK has no need to compromise on any single facet of its objectives.

They don't have to sit around a meaningless negotiating table and be continually subjected to condescending otiose cant and vituperative slander from the EU side nor its supporters in this country.

 

Lying and cheating on brexit and debasing the democratic will of the electorate on an epic scale not seen since Goebbels in 1930s Germany does nothing to enhance Labour's tawdry reputation. 200 of their MPs need to take urgent note or face the consequences.

The Social Europe site published an opinion by Simon Wren-Lewis on  the current state of the UK's brexit negotiations with the EU. In general, SWL's article was a broadly social-democratic critique of what he regards as the Left's case- " Lexit "- for leaving the EU.
So far so good,after all just like every vote cast in the EU referendum was of equal value, so too, were we to extend the argument ,ought not one man's opinion be of equal validity to everyone else's opinion on any given issue? In practice,of course this is never the case, to believe that it could be is the height of naivety.
You see, the  Simon Wren-Lewis article had as a footnote his official moniker  " Professor of Economics at Oxford University ". Of all the varied demographic groupings it was the AB social class alone amongst all of them that had a majority vote Remain in the EU referendum. And  Remain metropolitan elitists being the seditionist nest of vipers that they invariably are, it doesn't stop at the opinion,learned or otherwise of just one professor.
Today's MSM has been assailed with the announcement of a list of demands delivered to our doltish Prime Minister by no less an august grouping than that representing the UK's leading 10 universities. Their particular strategic line of assault against Brexit is centred on the supposed infringement of the copious Rights enjoyed by EU citizens sojourning in the UK who also happen to be working at universities.
And so it goes. The metastasizing Remain insurgency asserts that every conceivable sector of the economy in one shape or form or another is under dire immediate existential threat because of the looming brexit. Whether or not it even actually eventuates or not.

Britain was threatening possible military action against Spain over Gibraltar! or maybe it wasn't,but Gibraltar did get a mention in the EU's negotiating procedures document vis a vis the UK's Article 50 exit. Within the EU's document the Spanish government would be guaranteed some kind of definitive say over the future status of Gibraltar once the UK has exited the EU. Or possibly not, depending on how excruciatingly nuanced an interpretation EU theologians-manque could possibly contrive from the words actually written. The massed ranks of seditionist EU shills in all their guises immediately seized upon the apparently bellicose and intemperate responses from various former Tory government ministers to this allegedly diplomatic faux-pas occasioned by the beleaguered Spanish government. The Straw Man was now fully animated. Lazy faux-journalism coupled with superficial news reporting and the repetition of kneejerk off the cuff responses added to the less than entirely convincing imbroglio. Well, that went rather badly..The Dutch general election all done and dusted. The heretofore ruling party of Premier Rutte lost around 20% of its parliamentary seats;whilst the once predominant Labour Party was virtually annihilated at the polls and Geert Wilders' populist Freedom Party gained a hand full of seats. The unanimous verdict and widely trumpeted conclusion of all the pundits,experts and analysts in the MSM (Mainstream Media) therefore, was that the " winner " was declared as being the incumbent Premier Rutte who valiantly and decisively saw off the imminent threat of populism and struck a blow for tolerant,multiculturally inclusive PC Europe. Wow!! even after losing 20% of their seats. The putative populist " threat " ,i.e. islamophobic,xenophobic,racist anti-EU Geert Wilders was soundly defeated!! after gaining a few more seats than previously. IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH. It is compulsory to maintain two mutually contradictory thoughts at the same time. Wilders is Goldstein. Meanwhile in the eminently more rational and plausible alternate timeline of recent events; Erdogan's grotesque theatrics and accompanying soundtrack of specious hyperbole over the Netherlands refusal to allow Turkish government Ministers to conduct political referendum rallies in Rotterdam is finally catalogued under the heading S for Sham. Even now the Bulgarian government is embroiled in a vigorous exchange of invective with Turkey over Turkish attempts to meddle in the Bulgarian electoral process. Quite what connection that has to this sudden and unexpected retreat of the forces of Populism across an entire make believe and materially non-existent single  " european " polity is anyone's guess. President Erdogan, who rules his spectacularly corrupt country from a gigantic new palace, kills his own people by thuggishly suppressing peaceful demonstrations. He hates criticism. His political opponents are arrested at dawn and tried on absurd charges.

He throws journalists into prison and seizes control of newspapers that attack him. He has been one of the keenest promoters of the disastrous Syrian war, which has turned millions into refugees and hundreds of thousands into corpses.

He is an intolerant religious fanatic, and curiously unwilling to deploy his large armed forces against Islamic State. And now he seeks to blackmail Western Europe into allowing his country into the EU and dropping visa restrictions on Turks, not to mention demanding trainloads of money.

If we do not give him these things, then he will continue to do little or nothing about the multitudes of migrants who use Turkey as a bridge into the prosperous West.

And yet for years he has been falsely described as a ‘moderate’ by Western media flatterers, and his country has been allowed to remain in Nato, supposedly an alliance of free democracies.

He is a direct threat to us. Yet the anti-Putin chorus never mention him. Is it because they cannot pronounce his name?  "

Turkish Law itself expressly prohibits electioneering abroad by politicians.The particular edict itself is almost uniformly ignored by the very legislators who promulgated it. No matter, what drives the demagogues in the cheap suits to wander all across western europe are the hundreds of thousands of potential voters who retain,in effect, dual  Turkish nationality. Quite what the  " moral high ground " was supposed to be in regard to which attributable danger was never actually debated,since there are none.
