I read journalist and commentator Peter Hitchens’ touching commentary in the Mail on Sunday making a rather compassionate case for the Labour Party somehow to be revived and restored somehow along the lines of what it once was perceived to be.

Well bollox to all that .Labour and its  “sister ” parties all across the continent of Europe,including the German SPD, have for quite some years now been undergoing a kind of existential entropy. It’s History’s way of telling political ideologies,movements and parties that the Cosmos has moved on.

Strangely enough when the post WW2 political order across Europe underwent its sea change around 1989, several of the ruling Communist Parties’ politburos and central committees actually consciously denounced themselves and voted themselves out of existence.They were my kind of Red.

September 12 2018 is the last day of the Trades Union Congress annual conference. Its social media hashtag has been #TUC150 .

Imagine one of the creatures in Jurassic Park wearing a happy birthday hat.

The TUC's greatest historic strength in past decades and its greatest weakness these last 40 years, is its symbiotic relationship with the Labour Party - what once was only supposed to have been the organised labour movement's parliamentary wing.

And so it goes. Parties and movements and the ideas that they are founded on to promote and which motivate them must all at some stage come to falter ,fail and die out.The late 19th century born idea of Social democracy /parliamentary Socialism is the latest case in point.

But long after the actual material circumstances conducive to a particular political ideology's growth and development have evolved and become increasingly less favourable to that particular ideology,the proponents of it continue their sterile endeavour of essentially continuing to march ( and dragoon everyone else to march along with them ) in the entirely wrong historic direction.

And once Class politics is abandoned and the distinctive Class oriented parties and movements enter instead the murky quagmires of identity and gender politics,then truly their cause is lost.

That the headline speaker at #TUC150 is the Archbishop of Canterbury,sums up the predicament of the movement succinctly.

That the other day, Congress actually approved a motion in support of Gender-self indentification as a policy priority,underscores the TUC's predicament.

The TUC's timely death as with that of the Labour Party and equally so the Conservative Party's ought to resonate across all echelons of the  British polity irrespective of any level of political awareness.

The moment ,TUC General secretary O'Grady announced that the TUC would add its " might " to the #PeoplesVote campaign for a second referendum of the UK's continued EU membership, is the moment the TUC -all it ever did and all that it is ever likely to do- passed irrevocably into the annals of history;its death notice failing to be recorded in the obituary columns.

In the wake of the 23rd June 2016 Referendum, a plethora, nay a veritable deluge of polls were commissioned,conducted and published by the two opposing camps each seeking some tangible empirical corroboration to underpin and give a superficial gravitas to their respective and ineluctably irreconcilable ideological standpoints.

The Remain campaign proved, by the proverbial country mile,to be the ones lacking any pretence at dispassionate analyses and academic rigour. Obviously the first referendum doesn't count,didn't count because of all the lies told,information withheld and anyway the question asked was the wrong one etc.etc. and next time they'll be a multiple choice questionnaire on the ballot paper; the only difficulty for PeoplesVote is in figuring out the precise,legalistic,sub-claused,nuanced array of choices and their complex grammatical structures that on balance will get the majority to in effect annul the decision they made on June 23 2016.

The EU Referendum debate,such as it is is being soundly buffeted by verbiage and flimsy assertions coming at it from all conceivable ideological and Party directions.For Labour it is essentially a tribal struggle vis a vis the Conservatives.Their worn out,dessicated mantras are being dusted off and brought back into circulation,wrapped in a faux-nostalgia and counterfeit,superficial class politics that long ago ceased to have any traction in the world post Thatcher-Blair. Labour MP Sarah Champion has declared the “floppy left” is afraid of speaking out on issues such as sex grooming gangs for fear of being branded racist.

Champion last month quit as shadow equalities minister after a backlash for saying “Britain has a problem with British Pakistani men raping and exploiting white girls”.

She told the Times: “If I’m on the floppy left, to be accused of racism is probably the worst thing you can call me. That fear will motivate me to step away from a lot of topics I’d maybe tackle head on if I didn’t have that phobia.”

Her constituency was the scene of a grooming scandal and she said many Labour members and politicians based in London had “never been challenged by a reality that’s different” from their largely “tolerant, multicultural world”

Jeremy Corbyn used his appearance on the Andrew Marr show Sunday morning to pledge that any new policy would stop the “ wholesale importation of underpaid workers from Central Europe ”. The usual inquisitorial litany of charges they level at anyone advocating the end of the neoliberal EU's  unrestricted freedom of movement consists of but isn't limited to , xenophobia, racism, scapegoating of immigrants.
" Remoaners " - whether of the left or right  -never even attempt to explain how increased labour market competition does actually drive up the general level of wages. The insidious and genuinely disturbing authoritarian rhetoric of the Remain campaign precludes dissent from their received wisdom.
A typical Trades Union constitution such as the UNITE Trade Union constitution ( 2011 ) is self-evidently in breach of the Leftoid/marxoid flat earthers' fundamental principles. After all, how can any Trade union defend let alone improve wages and working conditions under the remorseless onslaught of unfettered unlimited immigration numbers? Real wages have been eroded these past 40 years and UK GDP has lain dormant since the crash of 2007/08.

How can the authorities  either centrally or locally plan for and make adequate provision for their citizens if the authorities have absolutely no idea how many more people will  keep arriving.
Acknowledgement alone of these problems has for decades now been denounced as racist scapegoating of migrants. The bien pensants of metropolitan domiciled, Oxbridge doctrinaire elites and their subservient political class hirelings have dragged Society to the very edge of an unprecedented cataclysm,one that they appear to have every intention of triggering - the annulment of the EU Referendum Result ,the betrayal of Brexit.

You may recall that this time last year,indeed on this very day 26 April, 200+ Labour MPs were engaged in a campaign to persuade the British people to remain in perpetual servile bondage to the German dominated alien tyranny.Alan Johnson MP of the petainist/quisling #LabourIn summed it all up:-

That didn't work out all that well for them, did it? The trades unions proved wholly incapable of mobilising even the paltriest of numbers amongst their paper memberships to campaign against #brexit.The truth is they were never going to. It was the height of delusional thinking to believe otherwise ,as Johnson and his 200 metropolitan elitist EU seditionist shills so clearly did.

And so we're back to history being repeated as farce in this current period up to and including June 8 ,2017. Not only #Labour but the cretinoid LibDems, the SNP and Sinn Fein are all re-running their anti #brexit campaigns from last Summer. Corbyn and his monstrous regiments of essentially irritating yet ineffectual poseurs are repeating the same otiose cant of wanting to keep the UK in the EU single market and the customs union. Ending EU neoliberal freedom of movement and reasserting national sovereignty over our borders and immigration are again notably absent from Labour's OCD policy statements and soundbites.

There aren't enough points on the Richter Scale to measure just what a pro #brexit political tsunami will sweep across these islands on June 8. Schadenfreude will be at its maximum.

The SNP,Plaid Cymru and Sinn Fein for diverse, albeit remarkably similar aims of anti-Unionist, regionalist considerations wish #brexit dead.The unconvicted war criminal and messiah-manque Blair himself has again risen from his resting place to try and concoct some corporeal intervention during the run up to June 8. And Corbyn's supreme policy strategy and decades long acumen as a wholly peripheral if not entirely irrelevant bogus leftist agitator has led him to call for the Labour Party to promise additional Public bank holidays should they actually win the election. And heaven help us all it has fallen to the Conservatives to take the Holy Grail of #Brexit forward. Not that any of this ludicrous imbroglio is new ; the players have changed and maybe even the colour of their playing strips, but the game remains the same.

The truth of all of that is that History has passed all of the Labour Party by.The Men of Action who've so dramatically reappeared on the centre stage of History are not from the ranks of the antideluvian Left. Two years on from Corbyn's corporeal manifestation in front of his newly acquired acolytes, The Independent opines :-

The only way Corbyn can succeed, is by taking the sharp left turn that he was elected to do. The people also need to see an authoritative and relentless streak that has so far been absent from his leadership. In short, Corbyn must fight back. He needs to take control of the party before he can take control of the country, otherwise he is nothing but a sitting duck.

One of the ways this can be achieved is through enabling the democratic right of CLPs to reselect and deselect their parliamentary candidates, and organising in order to ensure that young, up and coming, “fire in the belly” left wingers replace those who are actively seeking to undermine the Labour Party under Jeremy Corbyn.

Here we go, again! Or almost. An emergency Commons debate on the topic of , however you wish to describe it, Aleppo. Called by the Tory MP Andrew Mitchell, the debate attracted the attendance of 70 MPs.  And as usual the cries of something needs to be done, has to be done resounded to the echo. Deja Vu has seldom been so much in evidence in the Commons.They debated Aleppo fairly recently and the same faux-concerns of our metropolitan-domiciled political class were thoroughly rehearsed for the cameras. An odd symmetry of Tories clinging onto the last vestiges of a grasp of global Realpolitik on the one hand waylayed by the strident / bellicose utterances of born-again Blairites whose lack of practical military /logistics knowledge was woefully in evidence. Clowns in Chief Johnson and Osborne did some desultory limp moral shroud waving by asserting that had parliament in 2013 opted for a military intervention of some kind or another at that time, Aleppo would not now be an issue. Don't ask; it wasn't supposed to make any sense whatsoever even at the time. Unless, of course the real intent behind all and any calls for any intervention in the Syrian Civil War is to goad Russia into a premature globalised conflict aka WW3. Surely not?

I launched this missive earlier today posting it to the Wakefield Express.It concerns the local Labour MP, Mary Creagh one of the 200 seditionist #LabourIn MPs,who is particularly woefully out of touch with her constituents,and a 2015 failed Labour leadership contender who couldn't get enough endorsements to get on the ballot,unlike J.Corbyn who eventually did.

October 28,2016; it's 128 days since the EU Referendum. The putative war crimes suspect Blair appeared on BBC Radio 4's flagship breakfast news programme, " Today  " at just after 8 a.m. And the Merde has been raining down ever since across all media platforms.  The defeated Remain campaign has gone into full zombie mode; the campaign lost,was beaten, got less votes than the opposing campaign etc.etc. The trouble is, thanks to 200+ unreconstructed #LabourIn MPs who were the beating heart that gave actual life to Remain, those 200 won't lie down. And now Blair has decided to join in the contrived mayhem and faux-debate over the triggering of Article 50 and commencement of #Brexit.

Blair does certainly know all about playing with fire.And he couldn't care less about who it is that gets incinerated. The perversity emerging out this imbroglio for  #Labour is particularly ironic. Since it is above all the pronounced anti-blairites who have been carrying out and promoting his views on the  #EU more so than the MPs who claim to be Blair's acolytes. Either way, Labour as a Party deserves to burn for all of this; Left,right and centre. #Brexit has created the opening for such a historic event to take place. Sediton itself brings about the end of  the seditionists.
