There is no need to recapitulate the details of what, has now  become known as the Grenfell Tower disaster in Kensington. There is no need to delve speculatively into the whys and wherefores and who might be held accountable.All of that will emerge as invariably such matters do via due process of whatever inquiries and commissions and inquests that will,no doubt be instigated and held shortly. Events of such gravity and magnitude get bound up with the politics of their time. That doesn't make them any more palatable or their aftermath somehow more manageable.  Righteous and wholly understandable popular anger and resentment are never the actual problem in any such events. It's the accompanying squalid,vituperative internecine and factional partisan politicking that really pisses everyone off. Barely one week after an over heated and indecisive general election off they bloody well go again. The Labour Party ( now enjoying an illicit ideological armistice  between Corbyn's Momentum and what they refer to as the Blairites,but basically anyone who dislikes the Left) truly are the most mendacious cynical set of contemptible bastards imaginable. Fact :- Labour punishes and suspends all of its Councillors who dare to speak out against let alone oppose the implementation of local austerity budget cuts. The actual number of such brave individual councillors right across the UK who have spoken out and refused to agree to implementing cuts probably numbers less than 20,if that. It is clear therefore that the Labour Party never stand up or with the many,ever. Nevertheless, Grenfell Tower,in the space of just a few days degenerated into a faux-ideological school playground fight,with all the attendant loss of sobriety,reason,common sense and dignity that such displays of immaturity and petulance always entail. Corbyn- the demagogue-manque and his acolytes resorted to calling for the immediate expropriation by state authorities of private property that might ,a) exist and b) be suitable for immediate occupation by those rendered homeless by the fire.The fevered sub- standard rhetoric of conspiracy theories became the norm. From " May must go!" and the evils of private enterprise on Friday through into of all things the annual "Al Quds Day" march by Hezbollah and their zealots in London whose  public speakers explicitly said that it was the Zionist Corporations supporting May that were responsible for the Grenfell Tower fire. That catchphrase springs to mind whenever the increasingly frantic and desperate European Union attempts to debate let alone decide upon any course of action in response to the Western Ruling Elites' engineered " Refugee / Migrant Crisis ". France's Premier Vals pretty much borrowed the gist and the sentiment of the Two Ronnies the other day,as reported by the Daily Telegraph :-

Welcome to Stasi Britain. It was reported the other day to much,but not overly much general consternation that, The Home Secretary Amber Rudd had been reported to  ( and was subsequently recorded by ) the Police for having committed  a " hate incident ". No, this is not a spoof. Herewith a concise description as to what constitutes  a " hate crime / incident " in the UK in 2017.

The police and Crown Prosecution Service have agreed a common definition of hate incidents.

They say something is a hate incident if the victim or anyone else think it was motivated by hostility or prejudice based on one of the following things:
disability
race
religion
transgender identity
sexual orientation.
This means that if you believe something is a hate incident it should be recorded as such by the person you are reporting it to. All police forces record hate incidents based on these five personal characteristics.

Subsequently pilloried across social media was an Oxford academic, Joshua Wilson, who had made the original complaint against the Home Secretary.It emerged that the aforementioned Physicist had not himself listened to the " offensive " words uttered by Amber Rudd at the time. During the course of the Conservative Party's annual conference in a major platform speech on future prospects and possibilities for the UK labour market once #brexit had actually been achieved,Rudd put forward the proposition that British jobs might go first to British workers. This jobs preference for the British in their own country, by the by has never actually happened in practice,but the idea is probably going to gain genuine appreciable traction some time soon.
And so, on that non-existent legal basis, the #remain campaigner and supporter of antidemocratic sedition, Joshua Wilson reported the speech to the Stasi authorities.Who finding no grounds to prosecute the matter any further as an actual " hate crime " nevertheless recorded Amber Rudd's speech as a " hate incident ". After all, 30 pieces of silver doesn't buy much these days. Symbolic rather than authentically substantive, all 28 satrapies send an ambassador to the halls of the very supra-continental power that has subsumed them. In Britain's case not only is it now more than ever wholly superfluous ; what is the point since we're leaving, adieu,thanks for all the whatever it is that we deluded ourselves into believing that we had obtained these past 40 odd years. Apart from nothing. Naturally the extremist and increasingly marginalised euro-zealots and seditionist misfits and cranks who still cling to the floating wreckage of their sunken megalomaniacal dream of Ein Reich,Ein Europa, shall have cause to lament the exit,stage left of that minor character part. Gone and never appreciated. Given the relative obscurity of this minor character actor's part in The Great Farce, it is an unprecedented feat of embellishment and transcendent political hyperbole that the Remain camp has escalated this microbial occurrence into some kind of faux-significance for the rest of us. Schools are struggling to cope with an influx of Roma children from Eastern Europe who arrive unable to speak English, Ofsted warned yesterday.

Inspectors said schools were hampered by a lack of resources to meet the ‘wide-ranging needs’ of new arrivals who may never have experienced formal education.

They said some pupils were unfamiliar with school routines and behaviour expectations. Many also needed intensive help to learn English but schools were struggling to find enough bilingual staff to teach them.

No further comment necessary.

In 1588 ,with the threat of Spanish Imperial seaborne invasion imminent , a great many of  Elizabeth I’s  British subjects agitated ,supported and actually prayed and sang ( at illegal underground Mass ) in hopes of a forthcoming deliverance from the yoke of the Protestant harlot.  We all too readily forget ,ignore and above all fail to study our island history. We have ,in general become historically and culturally illiterate. It is a truism to assert that those born into Britain ( its complex historically determined society and polity, ) are nowadays unable to appreciate let alone make any sense of being here. The old adage , that it is wise when in Rome to do as the Romans do , has alas gone for the proverbial ” Burton ” ,which given the paucity of recall of once popular socio-cultural references ,means bugger all I suppose.  We are a nation ,society and polity mired in hypocrisy ;Conservatives who since the turn of the Second World War are intrinsically no longer propagating the conservation of anything and Socialists who equally have long ago abjured any serious intent to socialise anything and the bloody liberals who actually were never libertarian but have willingly played second fiddle to whoever of the other two  doesn’t  do any of the aforementioned. For example, the content and tone of the language they both utilise in their vituperative hyperbole in slandering and defaming all those who voted for the winning argument in the EU Referendum and those who voted for the winning candidate in the Presidential Election, could not be more apparent. The self-referencing  " 48% " of the Remain campaign wish simply to have the Referendum result annulled by any means whatsoever. In the USA, the Democratic Party wants likewise the Election of Donald Trump annulled by any means whatsoever.  It is worth taking note of the constitutional complexities in the US as distinct from the less than iron clad constitutional arrangements for plebiscites in the UK.

The Democratic Party's ideological reference point is the strongly contested outcome of the Presidential Election of 2000 AD. The Electoral college was in effect deadlocked and Al Gore had polled more aggregated votes than G.W.Bush at the ballot box. It appears that Clinton has done likewise vis a vis Trump at the " ballot box ", whereas unlike Bush, Trump got a comfortable majority over Clinton in the Electoral College.

Logically and rationally there ought not to be the slightest basis for any kind of quasi-judicial or administrative challenge to or doubt cast upon the result. Donald Trump will be the next president of the USA. But reason and logic only serve as a basis for democratic politics just as long as the ideologues of globalism & PC multiculturalism deem it necessary and convenient. And in the UK and USA and indeed in many other " advanced western democracies ", the metropolitan domiciled globalist elites no longer find the verdict of sovereign democratic electorates either convenient nor legitimate.

The formerly prevailing notions of " Left " and " Right " were long ago made redundant, primarily by the cessation of the non- " Cold War " and the consequent dissolution of the USSR and other post WW2 socialist states. The real dichotomy that is now the dynamic engine of ideological discourse and popular political disputation revolves around the Sovereign Nation State v. Globalisation and its discredited corollary, multiculturalism and diversity. The historic triumph of #Brexit is the the most immediate and starkest expression of this existential struggle. No-one has ever argued that, for instance the losing parties in a UK General election call for the Secession of those constituencies which voted for them or that the consequences of the other party gaining a majority are to be ignored in all matters pertaining to their own constituencies or that even the result itself wasn't legitimate and therefore another corrective general Election had to be called immediately. And yet this is precisely what the " 48% " antidemocratic rabble have done and are continuing to do at every opportunity on every conceivable issue. On Thursday 23rd. June I went to bed fully persuaded that,much as I wanted it to, #Brexit wasn't going to happen and that on waking up on the morning of Friday 24th. History had happened.  Pretty much the same routine occurred last night. I woke up around 02:00 GMT Wednesday 9th. November was dawning with self-confident,self-satisfied Democrat Party notables and appartchiks foretelling the inevitability of a Clinton coronation. Getting back to sleep with an oh well,never mind,World War 3's on its way then, I looked forward to carrying on with the quotidian when I got up nearer my regular time. And then, History happened,again.  June 24 gave me an epiphany and that was repeated around 06.30 this very morning. The US establishment elites and the incumbent political class and the Commentariat and all the experts just got hammered into the ground,again just as their counterparts were on June 23 in Great Britain. Joy unspeakable, or nearly so! Not that our indigenous antidemocratic,anti working class seditionist law breaking scum such as #LabourIn and their Remain Axis partners wasted any time at all on BBC Radio 4 in slandering and heaping opprobrium onto the newly elected President Trump and all those who voted for him. Quite what " democracy " is let alone what it is meant to be, have all gotten more than just a bit attenuated these last few weeks. A Court of Law has decided that the National Executive Committee of the Labour Party is legally entitled to determine who is to be excluded from voting in the Party's upcoming leadership election. Meanwhile, LabourIn  ( around 200 of their MPs ) the leading force of the Remain campaign during the EU Referendum, have continued unabated their attempts to have the Electorate's decision to vote to Leave annulled one way or another. The struggle such as it is, appears to be coalescing around the problematic of when, if ever Article 50 is to be invoked; as indeed one might have thought rationally it must and in all likelihood no later that early in the new year 2017.  So it goes. Tragedy and farce are the keynotes of the Labour Party.The Party's leadership contest exhibits those qualities as does the Judicial imbroglio into which Labour has harried the UK's decision to Leave the European Union. Times they are a changin' and those who fail to adapt successfully to the altering circumstances are more than likely to find themselves sidelined as irrelevant to those new conditions. One commentator's view of  the significance of the Brexit Vote was that it  was on a par with the Glorious Revolution of 1688. That at least lends appropriate gravitas to the whole matter and gives a proper perspective on the contemporary hiatus afflicting our creaking, first-past-the -post parliamentary system. We appear to be in a slow-motion cataclysm. So it goes.

So what was that all about,eh? The UK's referendum on its continued membership of the EU. The anticipated outcome, on the morning of June 24th was for a majority and probably quite a hefty one in favour of Remain. Official received wisdom and opinion was so entirely convinced of this reassuring result that no-one, not a solitary MP,for example, had even remotely contemplated the alternative, a majority voting in favour of Leave. Historic sea changes often occur at such unlikely junctures in the seemingly routine, normal course of events. An election more or less, a change of Party in government, downturns in the economy.None of these types of occurences by themselves necessarily cause or signal a fundamental shift of any kind. That's how the Ruling elites prefer things to be. And then one of History's wildcards, in this case the sovereign British electorate, comes along and votes by a majority of 52% to 48% in favour of  the UK leaving the EU. The government then really has to commence negotiations to withdraw the UK from the EU. When precisely such negotiations, referred to as Article 50,commence depends solely upon the Prime Minister exercising the Royal Prerogative. Bummer. Once Article 50 is invoked a prescribed timeframe for withdrawal negotiations goes live. So it all comes down to when the Prime Minister exercises that Royal Prerogative. Which is precisely the way the Ruling elites and the political class and the infinite plethora of experts want things to go. Arrogance and hubris,however are behavioural/psychological traits intrinsic to the Ruling elite and the political class in general. They cloud and distort and ultimately poison political judgement and weaken entrenched positions. #Brexit really has triumphed!

Ain't democracy wonderful? Isn't mass participation by the ordinary electorate in public political discourse and a degree of activism a welcome indicator of the health of the body politic? Where are the corporate media Commentariat who are usually the first to applaud such happenings? Where for heaven's sake are those opinionaters who professionally feign to take an oppositional stance and their plethora of incisive leader articles and espousals of the immutable virtues of democracy? Well, in the case of The Republic of Turkey and its legitimate,constitutional government..all the aforementioned are precisely nowhere. Millions took part on Sunday 7 August in a Pro-democracy rally in Istanbul that repudiated the Military putsch attempt of July 15. Millions.  Mature Realpolitik discourse and polemics doesn't sit well with what passes these days for the western democratic pluralist tradition. Not that the West's authentic defenders of such traditions would  be capable any longer of discerning any lingering vestige of that which they once believed they were upholding let alone defending.  Turkey and its Political leadership has been consigned to the proverbial " doghouse ". Not that it matters too much or is of any significant concern to the Turkish state at the present moment. The truth, I would venture, is that the World is in a no more perilous or precarious an existential state than it was in the latter half of the 19th.Century. Wars, regional conflicts, trade disputes, population upheavals,diplomatic and political shennanigans and a plethora of domestic national instabilities contrived by unsympathetic outside influences and covert agendas. Plus ca change.

Too often we search for complex and detailed reasons in order to help us come to terms with and explain events as reported by the Media. George Orwell in his seminal, " 1984 ", has the Party official O'Brien explain to the novel's chief protagonist, Winston Smith the following:-

“Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power.”

The recent spate of widely reported terrorist-attributed atrocities in Germany and France, has everyone groping around in the dark, trying in vain, to grasp hold of an identifiably rational explanation as to why such murderous onslaughts are being perpetrated in the first place. Sensationally horrific as they are proving to be, these disparate occurences are , in terms of order of magnitude, almost as nothing when compared to the ISIS/DAESH-claimed car bombings and suicide bombings that have become a part of the daily routine in Syria, Iraq,Turkey and Afghanistan. The object of terror is terror. Cutting a Priest's throat whilst he is at prayer in front of the Altar is for many an unthinkable abomination. And as these proliferate in number and intensity, the response of governments and the political class throughout the West remains ineffectual to the point of deliberate indolence. They, along with the corporate media and commentariat have been hoist by their own petard of multi-culti PC. 

When the great stampede of western-born,supposedly " radicalised " Muslims got under way to Syria, to join ISIS/DAESH, Western governments ought to have allowed everyone last one of them to go! And upon their departure stripped them of their citizenship and outlawed their return to the country from which they departed. Simple, elegant. And so it goes, victory in any given conflict goes invariably to the side that fucks up the least. And at the moment it's way too close to call.

Nearly 4 weeks after EU Referendum Day, the forces of Reaction & Remain continue to seek more ways to stymie and/or annul the decision of the UK Electorate to vote to leave the EU ( aka Brexit ). Petitions,demonstrations, legal actions,organised online forums, academics and prelates, commentators on every specialism - finance, foreign relations, international trade, have been brought to bear against the carrying out of the decision to leave the EU. Where does this heinous misbehaviour stem from, who are the main culprits? The facts are that Tory MPs were split roughly 50-50 on the issue, whereas Labour MPs were 90-10 for Remain.And given the enormous pro-Leave votes in a huge number of nominally Labour " seats ", it was #LabourInForBritain who were by some considerable distance wide of the mark. Not only were they not singing from the same hymn-sheet as their " traditional voters ", LabourInForBritain weren't even standing in the same pews in the same church as their core voters. And that is a good thing, irrespective of any other partisan ideological considerations, if indeed it can  still be argued that there are any of any merit left. Once upon a time matters such as Treason and Sedition meant something, the words and what they signified resonated with awe and gravitas. A fortnight or so ago, a pop-up campaign - The 48% - organised a protest rally in London.One of their keynote speakers, Labour MP for Tottenham, David Lammy actually preached Sedition and sought to incite the crowd against our lawful government and its acceptance of the EU referendum result. The metropolitan domiciled, self-referencing bien pensant with their faux-bourgeois manners and social affectations and faddish prejudices have been around for a very long time indeed. And it is something of a meta-historical phenomenon that they choose precisely this juncture in the overarching historical narrative to once again display and articulate in an unrestrained, undiplomatic fashion their utter contempt, loathing and hatred of the majority within British society.

Here's what I emailed to my local newspaper the other day, perhaps it'll get published, perhaps not.

Clearly our current MP for Wakefield has lost confidence in the electorate on whom she is dependent. It seems that our current MP is far from " chuffed " with the democratic and binding decision of the electorate. That's a pity because in over 40 years of community and Trades Union activism I have never witnessed such a mendacious and fundamentally dishonest campaign than that waged by the Remain block during The EU Referendum. Bear in mind that ‪#‎LabourInForBritain‬ provided Remain's pivotal,leading role with some 200 Labour MPs declaring for Remain. It is not the electorate that has to explain itself to its elected representatives,but rather it behoves those such as Mary Creagh to make an unreserved and unconditional apology to the Electorate.

Will any MP who supported and canvassed for Remain actually apologise? probably not. Will Brexit be declared null and void? probably not.

FOOTNOTE :- There is a General Election scheduled for May 2020, once invoked by the PM via Royal prerogative, Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty envisages a timeframe of 2 years for all subsequent negotiations. This government will not go into an election with that unresolved.

The Petainists of #LabourInForBritain  who played such  a pivotal and decisive role in the  #VoteRemain Goebbelsian campaign to keep the UK in perpetual feudal servitude to the European Union, are at present engaged in a series of co-ordinated ploys that constitute a brazen attempt to annul the result of the EU referendum. Central to their attempts is a petition supposedly signed by over 4 million actual citizens and registered voters within the UK that calls on parliament to in effect ignore the result of the EU referendum. They shall of course fail, again. Brexit is real and it is going ahead. The European Union is on the high road to the abyss. Take for instance,the EU's utterly insane drive to become an empire with requisite diplomatic reach and geopolitical ambitions. This gleaned Thursday 14 July,  from the Serbian B.92 news platform:-

McAllister, the German MEP from the CDU party, who is currently visiting Belgrade where he late on Wednesday met with PM-designate Aleksandar Vucic, further stressed that the task of Serbia was to align its security and foreign policy with that of the EU "also when it comes to Russia."
Ahead of a conference in Belgrade, dubbed, "The European Union’s Global Strategy on Foreign and Security Policy and the Western Balkans," McAllister told the website,

"Serbia has traditionally strong economic, social and cultural ties with Russia. However, Russia unilaterally changes European borders in order to try to expand its influence and expand its control over parts of territories of neighboring countries. This is one of the reasons, why Serbia needs to make strong efforts in aligning its foreign and security policy to that of the EU, including the policy on Russia,"

It seems as though Germany is still unhappy with the outcome of WW1 and is campaiging for a re-run. Quite how they're going to finagle the other 26 member states of the increasingly bankrupt and dysfunctional hybrid imperium to foot the bill for all this putative adventurism and Russia-baiting, is of course something that they would collectively need to consider before cozening poor battered Serbia into becoming the EU's and NATO's tethered goat.

The Sea Change in British and wider global politics and the balance of Class forces thereof, which occurred during the night of Thursday 23rd.June into the early hours of Friday 24th. June are irrevocable. The heretofore seemingly impregnable hegemonic dominance of politics as usual and its accompanying Media-driven narrative suffered a catastrophic aneurysm. This is how History is forged, to conflate Bismarck's dictum , decisions made at the ballot box are those of blood and iron ( though originally he uttered iron and blood ). And that is what, in the most rudimentary terms has caused not only the British-domiciled,but also the wider global capitalist, ruling elites and their political classes to shit themselves in full view of the public. An epidemic of existential dread is sweeping across the Ruling elites and their servile political toady class. What the Occupy movement had so fervently striven for and what other countless protest movements and civic indignation had longed to see take place right in front of their eyes as evidence of the 99%'s integral role in being the fulcrum and determinant in the liberation of mankind from Usurer-Capitalist Tyranny and enslavement, is now happening! Revolutionaries are engineers tasked with the demolition of the prevailing capitalist order, they are not economists.Hopefully,decades from now when the dust has eventually for the most part settled from this Krakatoa event,the word economist will be as arcane and obscurantist as that of leech-doctor.
