What has the christophobic city council of Wakefield (here in the heart of York-shire,England) got in common with the government of the Peoples'Republic of China?Apart from persecuting Christians ,(and then only as and when they feel they might just about get away with doing it)restricting popular/citizen access to the Internet is the other major policy area of agreement between the echo-of-jackboots parading on the cobblestones of Red Square has heard in Wakefield and a not dissimilar sound heard in Beijing.Arrogance, stupidity and endemic hubris are ever the hallmarks of any tyranny that has goes unchallenged and unaccounatable for decades on end.37 years of one-party diktat in the one-horse City of Wakefield makes it feel the kind of place that time simply chose to forget. And how do you tell if you're standing in unrepentant Communist China or in unrepentant Pol-Pot Wakefield at any point during the day?per head of population, there's more Christians in China.
