As I confidently predicted ( took an educated guess at..) in a preceding blog post earlier in the month,February has indeed turned out to be less than fertile as regards interesting issues and topics for, visceral, punchy blog posts.

Brexit,Bloody Brexit.

I must say that the UKIP torpedo launched all those years ago now, certainly hit the British establishment's engine room bullseye. It has proven to have been the singularly most significant disruptor of a major world power's polity and civil society since the end of WW2.

And the metropolitan-domiciled neoliberal/globalist ruling elites ensconced in their ivory and glass towers in the City and Westminster, have worked themselves into an anti-democratic mania beyond any bounds of psychiatric intervention.

This has been gold dust, manna from heaven for those striving and seeking a restoration of populism and the full sovereignty of our nation which,of course resides exclusively and solely in the Peoples of these Islands.Always has, always shall.

The ineluctable forces of dialectical and historical materialism aka the intrinsic and irreversible engines of classes, continents and centuries are roaring ahead at full speed.
The deluded and deranged academics, commentators, experts of every bogus scientific, intellectual hue and discipline, the entire political class, those who long ago bowed down and prostituted their own souls before the false shibboleths of multiculturalism, globalism, finance capital and the entire scheisse which passes itself off as western society; for all of them the Bell is really tolling for you.

And we are left gazing upon the tawdry spectacle of a bunch of infantile cretins in SW1 strutting around on stage like shabby, tinpot squalid clapped out failed demagogues incapable of even reciting the rhetoric of their own harlot's calling that in years past would have sufficed to bring the Masses to heel.Except this time, they can't.

The dawn of March 30 2019 ; can't wait...

February 19 2019, D-Day minus 39.

On March 29 all will change and nothing will have changed.

If only the UK's polity was not fundamentally crippled by and retarded in its potential evolution by the retention 19th Century First Past The Post mechanism. If only this ,that and if only the other.Had the Tories under Cameron not promised a referendum, and Parliament not agreed to make it  binding.

It's how History keeps moving on,not so much by heroic, noble, enlightened actions and plans but through error, miscalculation, weakness and vacillation. The strong must govern. It is better when they do.

Our present predicament is and has been for far too long, that we are encumbered by a plethora of weak, stupid, cowardly compromising liberally-inclined pasty-face spineless conformists who long ago succumbed to every globalist/ multicuturalist policy and prejudice and ideological crankery that has wrought devastation on our Society.

That seven MPs resigned from the Labour Party to sit as  "independents" in the HoC is actually monumentally insignificant. The historic political unimportance of this passing phenomena cannot be exaggerated too much.

A continuing, seemingly unabated tsunami of authentic democratic Populism is sweeping across the constituent satrapies of the EU and beating the living electoral daylights out of Britsh Labour's sister parties without let or hindrance -social democracy -has been consigned to the editor of history's reject pile.It ain't coming back ever again.Ditto any Liberal party of any heretofore significance in any numbers.

Tragedy and farce, which comes first? The UK domiciled metropolitan cultural and political elites are the kamikaze pilot who realises that they really don't have a parachute after March 29.

Labour can't save them. Of the present assemblage of parliamentary pygmies sat as Labour Party MPs. numerically around 230 - 50% of them have at one time or another resigned from Corbyn's shadow cabinet. And that's without having any serious disagreements about Labour Councils continuing to enforce central government pro-Bankers' EU neoliberal Austerity on the rest of the population.

Seven resignations? yawn..pass the Schadenfreude!

And so it goes..on and on..and well, pretty much as predicted and it didn't take much inspired guesswork to identify  " Brexit " or what's left over of it as being the herd of elephants in the very very tiny room of UK parliamentary political discourse.

The European Union and its various constituent satrapies are busily tearing themselves apart, rancour and malice leavened by invective and counter-invective are keeping the grand - petomaine pantomime that is the Germanic Greater European Union in the headlines.

The Populist government in Italy is siding with Hungary and its eastern confreres and stirring the extra, bonus pot of Gilets Jaunes discontent to destabilise an already shaky Macron regime that resorts to brutality and violence in its efforts to stem or at least deter the Yellow Vests' tsunami of protests.

Whether or not our own desperate and increasingly dysfunctional EU puppet regime survives the epoch defining date of March 29,is a moot point.
However the history defining moment eventuates, too many fuses have already been lit and have reached the lip of their respective barrels.

That's how History - the Laws of motion of History operate.Ineluctable, dialectical and historical materialism unfolding just as they did at those other crucial points we retrospectively describe as The Reformation and the Civil War.

I'm definitely up for that.

February 7 1992 is a day that shall live in infamy.

It is the day on which that most heinous and treasonable Maastricht Treaty gave birth to the concept of  " citizen of the european union ".

It is a day when the EU funded seditionist garbage known as Peoples Vote aka metropolitan elitist Remoaners celebrate the historic self-annihilation of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland as a sovereign nation state.

Worthwhile reminding ourselves therefore of how the metropolitan ruling elites across the EU and its 28 satrapies including the UK utilise referendums.I originally posted the following blog , And So It Goes...#741  on February 25 2016 - 4 months before our Referendum on EU vassalage.

And How Was The Referendum Process For You ?

On June 23rd.2016AD WE the British Electorate get to cast our vote on whether to remain enslaved behind the barbed-wire of the EU Kz or opt to leave and walk out from under the EU’s, ” Arbeit Macht Frei “sign.

Referendums though are a tricky thing, especially when it comes to expecting the Kommissars of Strassbourg to respect let alone abide by the outcomes of referendums where those very outcomes weren’t the ones foreseen by the Thaumaturgists of Brussels.

Every Treaty ,every amendment to a Treaty, every nationally conferred campaign on a referendum to ratify a Treaty or an amendment has been systematically subjected to the most reprehensible propagandistic interference and attempts at subversion that the European Union has been able to deploy. The once and former sovereign and democratic national states of Ireland and Denmark have suffered more than even Britain from the unashamed and blatant finagling orchestrated by the EU.
Herewith a brief historical resume.

The Irish referendum on the Treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe was a vote that was planned but did not occur. The referendum was expected to take place in 2005 or 2006 to decide whether Ireland should ratify the proposed EU Constitution. Following the rejection of the Constitution by voters in the French referendum of May 2005 and the Dutch referendum of June 2005, the planned Irish referendum was postponed indefinitely.

LISBON TREATY

The rejection of the Constitution by French and Dutch voters halted the ratification process. As support by all members was required the Constitution was dropped and in July 2007 theEuropean Council agreed upon the foundation of a new treaty to replace the rejected Constitution. The text agreed upon at the European Council meeting on 18 and 19 October 2007 contained many of the planned changes of the Constitution but would not replace the existing treaties, as the Constitution would have done, but amended them. Before this Reform Treaty of Lisbon was signed on 13 December 2007
The first referendum on the Treaty of Lisbon held on 12 June 2008 was rejected by the Irish electorate, by a margin of 53.4% to 46.6%, with a turnout of 53%.[5]
The second referendum on the Treaty of Lisbon held on 2 October 2009 and the proposal was approved by 67.1% to 32.9%, with a turnout of 59%.
In Denmark, two referendums had to be held before the treaty of Maastricht passed. The first was held on 2 June 1992, had a turnout of 82.9% but approval of the treaty of Maastricht was denied by a slim margin, with only 49.3% in favour of the treaty.
The failure resulted in the Edinburgh Agreement, a deal which accepted the Danish “national compromise” and kept Denmark within the EU, on condition that the country was granted exemptions, so called “opt-outs”, on four areas of cooperation: the adoption of the euro, security and defence, justice and home affairs (JHA), and EU citizenship.
With the addition of the Edinburgh Agreement, new referendum was held on 18 May 1993. There was a turnout of 85.5% of which the 56.8% voted in favour of the renegotiated treaty. The four opt-outs have since defined – and to an increasing degree limited – Denmark’s participation in the European integration process.
The controversy around these exemptions has long been a focal issue in the Danish EU-debate. A referendum in 2000 already rejected a proposal to introduce the euro.
On December 3, 2015 , 53% of Danish voters rejected a proposal of six parliamentary parties to replace Denmark’s long-standing opt-out from the EU’s justice and home affairs system with a case-based opt-in model.
The yes-vote would have ensured sustained participation in Europol, the EU’s police agency, plus the adaption of 22 additional legislative files. What started out as a practical issue became a general opinion poll on relations with the Union with likely impacts on Danish EU policy.

June 23rd. is going to turn out to have been a very interesting day indeed.

Foreword:

I confidently predict another slow, somewhat laborious news-unworthy month of posting blogs, probably up to a maximum of 5 just as February closes.

And now back to the scheduled blog post:-

February 5,2019 ,52 days hence according to Statue Law enacted by Parliament, the UK will leave the EU on March 29.

It would be a virtually, historically unparalleled abrogation of trust and democratic constitutional legitimacy were the political class through some arcane or obscurantist parliamentary device to halt, stymie or in any way delay this enactment of Law which they themselves have passed.

However, those rogues and charlatans probably will contrive something to make it appear as if they - the 650 itinerant careerist Westminster benchwarmers - are really doing the rest of us -aka the sovereign British electorate - some kind of an altruistic favour by pulling the plug at the very last moment on Leave.

Some of the media Commentariat and various pundits-manque are making what they believe is an informed guess, that some form of British  Gilets Jaunes  will arise, form and take shape.Hence the pathetic maunderings of the recently announced Whitehall Civil Service contingency planning for the imposition of a Martial law scenario in anticipation of projected civil unrest.

I'd love to be actively taking part in that kind of existentially exciting scenario, but given the post-1945 history of mass political action in these islands, widespread civil unrest causing the metropolitan ruling elites and their political class to cack their pants,is just a little more than highly unlikely.

Though a broader retrospective of English political ferment does show some reassuring peaks of robust activism when challenging the presiding ruling elites of their time.

March 29, a date with destiny enshrined into Law by the very footpads and ne'er -do-wells who in the main oppose the very thing which the Law insists will come about ineluctably on that date.It really is a measure of how interminably stupid our political ( paid for by the EU and metropolitan elites ) class is.

And today February 5 2019,D-Day minus 52, the incessant whirlwind of various online social media and corporate headlines exclaiming that Brexit among others is going to :- cause a crisis in the construction industry,a crisis in farming and food supplies,in the road haulage trade, in exports and imports in general,in the waste disposal sector,in the NHS with not only staff shortages but also provision of medicines and so on and so forth ad infinitum.

What a load of bollox.

I would hate to think what the Remoaners will be saying when they lose their called for second referendum, when this is how they behave having called and lost once already.
